Science Assemblies are interactive and fun (and sometime explosive). Assemblies are designed for 40 or more students. Student volunteers help with the demonstrations and help bring science to life. Great for kicking off a science fair. Our assemblies are part of the regular assembly schedule at many schools. Space is limited so schedule early. Make this a regular assembly at your school today.
Science Matters runs six programs per school year. Each year programs are different and cover different topics. Our clubs combine fun and science by incorporating teacher demonstrations and hands on activities in a fun, science filled classroom. Each week, students also complete a take home project that reinforces the science concept being taught. Programs include Science Sampler, Slime Time, Magical Mixtures, Invention Lab, Blinded by the Light, and Earth’s Mysteries.
Science Matters in America offers an exciting and educational camp program for children five through eleven years of age. The Science Matters Camp is intelligently designed with a variety of stimulating activities at locations across the Colorado. Click the button below to see the locations we have summer camps!
ABOUT
Science Matters in America is a private organization dedicated to increasing science literacy among girls and boys ages five through fourteen. We strive to give every student a meaningful hands on science experience throughout their academic careers.
Since 1999, Science Matters has been providing quality science enrichment programming. Our curriculum is standards-based and help to develop the skills of a scientist. Students love the projects and activities and have fun while learning.
But it’s our teachers that make the biggest difference. Hand selected and trained in the “Science Matters Way,” the instructors combine fun and science inquiry. That’s how our slogan “Where Science and Fun are One” came to be.
