Science Matters Class Offerings for the 2024-25 School Year
Slime Time: Calling all slimeologists! Prepare to get elbow deep in gooey fun as we enter the world of polymer chemistry and make different slime creations each week. You’ll make amazing color changing slime, textured slime with growing orbs, and chalkboard slime that you can draw on!
Blinded by the Light: LIGHT! It bends, it bounces, it scatters! Explore the science behind color and light in this exciting hands-on exploration of the science that illuminates our world. Make a rockin’ rainbow tube, create a light maze, experiment with UV detectors, and make a luminescent goo tube.
Earth’s Mysteries: Join us as we learn more about this planet we call home. Explore the relationship between predator and prey, make discoveries about dinosaurs that once roamed the earth, use the power of the sun to make tasty treats, and explore hidden treasures.
