Science Matters Summer Camp Offerings at Douglas County Libraries
Fizz Bang Boom: What do you get when you mix the physics of motion with electrifying experiments and a splash of chemistry? A whole lot of fun! During this exciting week, campers will build their own motorized invention, utilize the power of air to launch spuds, discover the properties of light and craft a colorful kaleidoscope, examine the forces needed for flight as make their own kite, discover the chemistry behind giant floating bubbles, and explore rocket science as they experiment with Newton’s Laws of Motion

Refund policy: Any participant may receive a full refund, minus processing fees, until after the second class is completed. After the second class there will be no refunds granted, or partial credits given, for any reason. This policy also applies to full semester sign up. The second class is defined as the second class of Fall Semester.
