Science Matters Class Offerings for the 2025-26 School Year
Science Sampler: Experience a sampling of different science themes each week! Become an inventor and build your own circuit to send messages in Morse Code, become a geologist and go gemstone mining, and become a chemist as you create oozy glowing slime and other crazy chemistry concoctions!
Slime Time: Calling all slimeologists! Prepare to get elbow deep in gooey fun as we enter the world of polymer chemistry and make different slime creations each week. You’ll make amazing color-changing slime, textured slime with growing orbs, and chalkboard slime that you can draw on!
Science Escape Room: You’ve traveled into the lab of Professor Plasma and realize he’s set traps to keep you from leaving. Escaping won’t be easy, as the professor was diabolical and left one trap after another. To succeed, you’ll have to be one step ahead. Use your scientific knowledge to solve puzzles and complete experiments in order to uncover clues that will lead you to finding your way out. Join us in this thrilling adventure to see if you can outsmart the mad professor!
Pop, Bang, Fizz: Join us in the lab as we mix up some chemistry fun! Make your own monster bath poppers, experiment with a gas that’s heavier than air, launch film canister rockets, create a bubbly CO2 fountain, and whip up a frozen ice cream treat to enjoy.
